CLA is conjugate isomer of linoleic acid, which is an essential fat acid. As a result of the studies performed, it was understood that CLA affects muscle and fat balance and plays an important role in reducing stored fat and increasing fat-free muscles. If CLA is taken regularly, it prevents lipoprotein-lipase enzyme’s working, which helps fats stored in the body, and consequently, reduces stored fat amount in the body. Also, it frees the fat stored previously and makes them return to blood circulation. The fat returned to blood circulation is used as energy source in muscles. Therefore, if CLA usage is supported by an exercise program, burning of the fat returned to blood circulation is facilitated. |
